Has anyone upgraded the return plumbing on a IM Nuvo 25 Lagoon?

They Y return line that comes with the tank seems to be a piece of trash.

Is there an alternative that fits well?

I'm running a Jebao DCS 2000, which to some is also a piece of trash lol. I need something that fits the holes that are pre drilled into the tank.

I bought my 25Lagoon AIO used and it does not come with plumbing and the Y.
I had the Mighty Jet desktop and not enough for my set up. Hope these helps:

Bought it for $10 only and Prime.
Looks like they bumped up the $.

This looks like a great deal.
Still cheaper than my DC pump, which is super loud.

How loud is this pump? I might buy two for redundancy.

Lastly what type of hose did you go with for the Y?

The Pump is quiet and works well.

I was planning to put two pumps but my LPS didn’t like it.
And if you are planning to get two pumps,
this two pumps fits well.

Wouldn't those 2 pumps be 1000 gph put together?

That's alot of turn over for a 25 gallon lol!
