Hi all, bit of a hiccup.

So I just noticed my water level in sump was pretty low. And I topped it up with RO as you do. I dripped it in, but I've left it too long and put a bit too much RO in. Oops.

Salinity was 1.027, now 1.025.

Everything else in tank seems fine just anemone completely closed up and is oozing a strange goo.

Before and After pics below.

Thanks guys, sounds like in future I should probably be more careful when topping up my water level with RO to maybe do it slower over the course of a day or two.

What your pic shows is quite normal. Yes, anemones require a constant good water condition. Personally, IMO the anemone will adjust to the 1.025 in ~5 hours give or take and may do even better than it did at 1.027.

Please keep us updated.

Update!

Anemone looks fine today. I'll be a bit more careful with my top-ups going forward.

Thank you all for your advice and opinions.
