Tentacle extension THIS long ??? Some are 4-5" in length at peak lighting times ... maybe it's a Wanna - Be , LT ??? lol

Beautiful! I had one many years ago, similar in color to yours, that had long tentacles, but not hear that long.

Yeah...all the others in there are "shaggy" but that one has really long tentacle extension all throughout the middle section.. no wonder Its the favorite of the bicinctus..they sleep in it every night.It is around 18" dia when fully expanded during the day ..Lays out like a big pizza along the back wall and all the way down to the sand bed at times.. It has grown from about 7" in 2 yrs...

That's crazy looking! All of my gigs have a shaggy look.

Do you think it has anything to do with the clownfish species it's hosting?

I have no idea , really .. its the only one I've ever seen like it..even the diameter is roughly 3x size of a normal gig tentacle ... freak ?
