Have you ever wondered how a pistol shrimp makes its clicking sound?

I don't know how I came across this article (I was looking for the max size of these guys) but it's pretty darn interesting. I have even more respect for these little guys. Will wonders never cease? I'm assuming this is true. It's Stanford after all. Feel free to chime in if there are differing studies.
