I saw a post on FB talking about refrigerating the TDO pellets… well I haven’t refrigerated mine for the past few months. I feee my fish and they seem healthy should I toss them out or will the pellets be just fine?

The food will be fine. We strongly recommend refrigeration as an extra step to keep the food as fresh as possible. This is particularly important if you are feeding it out over the course of a year. Most people use up a pack pretty fast. It's also acceptable to put it in an auto-feeder. I use it that way and have never had a problem.I saw a post on FB talking about refrigerating the TDO pellets… well I haven’t refrigerated mine for the past few months. Is Tdo food heavier in nitrate or phosphate ?The food will be fine. We strongly recommend refrigeration as an extra step to keep the food as fresh as possible. Big thanks to others here for chiming in with experiential comments.

It is much more nutrient dense than most dry foods, so feed it sparingly. It's easy to pollute a tank with any dry food, so we recommend feeding only once a day with an amount that can easily be eaten by your fish and/or corals within 30 seconds or so. Of course, with proper filtration, routine water changes, and waste export, one can feed more often as many people do.Is Tdo food heavier in nitrate or phosphate ?
