Hi guys , Iam having issues with my water parameters, the biggest problem is my calcium level is on rise. We did a test using api/aquaforest/Red Sea calcium test kits, calcium level was at 610 we then added fresh water and manage to get to 500. Magnesium was at1100 move it to 1360 , Kh drop to 6 and we added baking soda to bring it up to 10 , the next day we did the test all was fine but calcium went back to 610 ( we fill up the reagent 2 times and that’s how we calculate 610) could you all plz guide me and how to solve this issue

Ph 8.1
Ammonia .25
No2. 0
No3. 60
Cal. 610
Mag 1360
Kh. 10

We do have algae bloom in pond and we do weekly scrubbing

Is the pond made of concrete? The calcium has to come from somewhere?
I am presuming that the testing is going on properly.

A picture of the pond would help me see the sea you are talking about :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Hi Kris
yes it is made of concrete, this pond has been more the 7 years. It’s just a mini swimming pool 20feet by 12 turn into a saltwater pond in the garden and we put a roof over it .

Yes testing ph is 3 times daily
Ca ,mg ,kh daily
Ammonia & no3 alt days

Have been reading and asking around no luck at all for now
