I am struggling with the best way to plumb a UV into my new tank. The only place I have room for an extra pump is either in the return section or external to the sump within the cabinet. I think to run an external pump I need a bulkhead below the water line, is that correct? Or could I run a 3/4" PVC from the external pump over the lip of the sump and down into the sump? Would that draw water? Not sure.

If I put the pump in my return section, I can either output the UV to an earlier chamber, which I believe is not recommended, or, I was wondering if I can tie two pumps into my return lines? Or maybe I should run one pump to one of my return outlets and then one to the other? I have a return in each back corner of my aquarium.

Inserted two videos below but they don't seem to be working. Maybe that takes some time.

Thanks for any suggestions.
