Hawaii bound!!!

On Oahu the best place for snorkeling wasnt Haunama Bay for me. It was WAY crowded and the water was kind of murky. I asked the locals where we stayed (Makaha Valley) and they said to go to where the power company put the cooling water in the ocean. I know it sounds strange but you just have to see it to know what I'm talking about. Take H1 west toward Makaha Valley and the power plant is on the left and the beach is on the right. That is where all the boats take the people to snorkel. The water gets deep FAST there and the currents are strong but if you have some fins you are good! I also saw dolphins there as well as a pretty good assortment of reef fish and corals.

Awesome guys! We plan to scuba and snorkel while there. I know house without a key is nice bur where else do you guys recommend to eat??

Howz it Brah!!! in kauai, check out poipou for some mellow surf. priceville is very nice but pricey. the tree tunnel is a must. but honestly I never have been to a beach in kauai I didn't snorkle. anywhere and everywhere. check out tide pools for nudis and random amazing inverts. we stayed at kauai beach resort on the southeast side and it was amazing. there is also a botanic garden that is absolutly amazing. It's also a hikers paridise. have a great trip. p.s. if the locals tell you that are not welcome at a certain beach or bar.heed the advice and stay away, for the most part the are great people and are very welcoming...
