So I am heading to Hawaii at the end of July, and I am looking for suggestions of where to go and what to do, places to eat, etc. We have 3 days on Oahu, 3 on Maui, and 3 on Kauai. Also where is the best place to dive? thought and opnions welcome!!!

Just got back from Maui moving there next year! Honolua bay is awesome for diving probably Molokini. My favorite breafast and lunch spot is paradise found crepes are the best. For dinner cheeseburgers in Paradise,Outback steak house and Ruth's Chris!

I didn't go driving but i also heard that Molokini is a a good place. I found the snorkeling there much like many of the other spots you can get to on your own.. I really enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau to be very good. I have been there a couple times myself. The road to Hana is always a good time. It is really nice if you can spend a night in Hana but you don't have to. It's the drive home that's the killer if you do it in one day that gets real tiring. It's also worth having a convertible if possible. It's one of those must haves in Hawaii..

we have a convertible on maui! that should be good. and the Laua you went to is a good one? have you been to others? just wondering, we have never been to Hawaii and want to have the best time possible so I am trying to get some good info! LOL!

dang dude is straight balling haha!!!!!!! j/k gotta love them steak houses!!!!!!

I have been to this luau each time i have been there. I haven't tried the others. The 2 main ones are run by the same company. The Old Lahaina luau is a tradition old style. It's more of the tradition old dancing and entertainment. They don't have fire dancing and things like that. That is the other one, not sure of the name though. I will say the food and drinks are excellent.

I have been to Hawaii for the last 25 years! I would say most laus have terrible food except for the one in Oahu which is held at the polynesian cultural center best show ever!

It's our 4 year anniversary. And it's one of the things we wanted to do before we start with kids. Lol!!

Nemo,
On Oahu for a little romance, check out House Without a Key at the Halekulani. Beautiful sunsets with a great view of Diamondhead, along with traditional music and elegant hula. No grass skirts, but the story telling with their hands.

Halekulani Hotel - Dining - House Without a Key

Here is a link. It is just down the beach from the Hilton.

Halekulani has a great sunday brunch. If you want to go make a reservation a few weeks in advanced. Germaine's luau on Oahu is also decent. A must go place for snorkeling on Oahu is Hanauma bay. You need to watch a short video before getting to the beach but its worth it. Go early so you can get parking.
