Any experiences with Hawaiian Black Triggers? I've got a sargassum and would like to add another trigger but I want to make sure some of my smaller, wrasse like fish won't be on the menu. I'm not worried about the clean up crew.

They are one of the more aggressive triggers, if you get him a bit smaller then the one you have now you should be fine. Mine never bothered anything in my tank. I’ll be getting another one day. Oh and they are jumpers! Mine went carpet surfing which is how I lost mine.

50/50 but do tend to be more semi aggressive as compared to a clown trigger, but more aggressive than a sargassum, usually much more.

How about a Niger Trigger? I have 3 in my reef tank and zero issues. They’ve never touched a coral or other fish.

I've always avoided Niger Triggers because I've read stories of them snapping and suddenly becoming aggressive. Maybe I'll look in to them more.

All 3 of mine are between 3 to 6” and so far zero aggression unless your a piece of food then your doomed lol
