Didn't I send along my pics of the hinged top with lights built in?
Hello Shaun! Yes I plan on the hinge for sure.
Same perspective as my 1/2 round.
I just went into my email and found a few I missed! I really like how your 1/2 round is set up and incorporated more shelf's and caves like you suggested, hard to tell with the 2d though. I can pull the middle and try the 2 sides and open it up more. Two things slowed me down getting creative messing with the rocks in the tank, chemo and balance on the step stool. I was trying to figure out a method to hang the lights (pully system of some kind) so I can completely remove the lid but by design of the lid mounting them inside like you pointed out on your suggestion is about my only good option.

Hope chemo doesn't mean what I think it means. I'm taking some drugs for an infection recently and they make me dizzy enough to stay off step stools. These tanks are tough to light but in the end, I've got 5 Radions and 2 Kessils over the hatches. If were doing it again, I'd probably go all Kessil due to the lovely shimmer.
Stay well ...

Wow, what a slow fill! I picked up the BRS 75gpd thinking after the tank is filled it would be good enough for the weekly water changes on the 2 tanks. Oh my gosh! The suspense is killing me!

Recommendation on a power head or wave maker? I have an Icecap 3k and planed in 2, but with the noise these things put out I don't think I can handle it. I will still keep the one along with whatever is recommended, but I don't want to break the bank.

I might have to check them out. I haven't seen anything on Craigslist or any other sale app that is worth buying. I have never bought anything from anyone on here but I might have to see whats out there. Thanks for the reply!

I am about 3/4 filled and making more water now. I have looked for your build on this one but can't find it! Im guessing as slow as I'm moving you have yours filled, cycled, stocked and established with a million corals by now, lol! Honey do's, work and puppies keep slowing me down!

LOL, I just used a garden hose and tap water with prime for my first fill, then cycled away;):D.

The tank is looking amazing.:)

Ha! No, it has been nine months for this build to get going. It took me three tanks to get one that was not damaged. It has been a looooong process. I am practicing patience. First link in my signature is my build thread.

Thanks, I wanted a spot where it can be viewed anywhere in the room. I'll probably question that decision when it goes through the uglies, at least for a short time. I will have to check your bow front out!
Been running since March. I just started stocking! Good luck and enjoy!

Is it full yet? Just had a terrible thought, after all this time, PLEASE remember to shut it of!!!

When I make RO/DI I run it right into 5 gallon jugs. I set a timer every time, but if I make a lot, sometimes I get mixed up. Came close a couple of times. Tile floor where I make it is tile though.
