Heater and Suction cups

Hey yall my heater didn’t tell me where to put suction cups to hold it. Is it okay if it’s near the middle where the metal heating wire is?

Just scared about heat melting the plastic suction cup guess it’s meant for that! I always just overthink!

I've never had a problem with a suction cup getting melted, as long as the heater is submerged. Though I did try to keep them away from where the heating coils are.

I would put it close to the bottom or the top, I’ve actually had a plastic suction cup get melted from being in the middle of the heater.
