Hello again. Another question for all you experienced reefers. I was planning on getting two heaters for my RSR250. Seems 200W would be adequate to heat a tank of this size.

I wanted two heaters to have a redundancy in case one heater fails. So do I get two 200W set at different temps, or two 100-150W to run in parallel? Or none of the above?

I imagine it's best practice to minimize the on/off fluctuations of the heaters to increase lifespan, and to minimize temp fluctuations.

I would get 2 200 watt heaters... one set slightly higher than the other. such that - only if the one fails does the other turn on.
