Heater?

Looking to get a new heater for my 120. I currently run the glass marine land heaters controlled via an apex. So, whats everybodys go to titanium heater with out a controller?

My first choice of heaters are Jagers. Their glass is twice as thick as other brands. The only issue is that they are long. If you can’t fit a Jager, my second choice is Sera.

Regardless of the heater, you need to use a controller. I don’t care what brand you have, they will eventually crap out by just not working or getting stuck ON. The controller protects you from the ON condition. Also go with two heaters just in case one craps, the other will attempt to hold temperature.

I was eyeing up the Finnex but didn't pull the trigger based on the horrible reviews. My buddy in town swears by them but the reviews on premium aqutics scare me.

Agree with redfishbluefish. Controller a must and 2 is better than one.

I had a jager but three weeks in the thing stuck on. I won't use one again. I use aqueon pro's in all of my tanks....no glass to break.
