Vodka dosing was the only thing that made mine really clear. Biopellets didn't clear mine really either

Well running a sock cleared my water up alot. But it's been even better since the start of kalk with vinegar.

Yah I've been reading all day on this vinegar dosing stuff and it sounds like vodka is 8 times more potent than vinegar. So my 15 ml per gallon is not really much.

Yeah, i have 10 socks that i made and i change them every other day after they overflow for a bit. You might want to try a little more gac. I'm thinking of shutting down the biopellet reactor and adding more carbon. That helps with clarity also

I'm only running a sock on the weekends. Everything seems to b doing great actually. Just them dumb pallies not happy frustrating me. Even my bit of cyano is pretty much gone. I've been blowing it off or sucking it up and it's not coming back much anymore.

I run 2 cups of gac and 2 cups of gfo in the sump. No reactor.

That's great! I mainly use mine because my drain lines make tons of bubbles. Gotta figure out a way to stop that.

I also want a Scott's wrasse or Idk. Still need a pair of clowns 2.

Leopard wrasse is just as demanding of a fish. I think that's why it's still at the lfs.

I have a mesh screen on it. So no worries! Lol. I lost a six line in my 150g so I've kept a cover since than.
