Mines on cruise control pretty much. Doing the alk with vinegar. 5 tsp wages lime and 1\3 cup vinegar still. Alk seems to be stable at 8.7 ish and ph is always 8.1 - 8.2. Fighting a bit of cyano for the last 3 months but it's not bad just sucking it out once ever 2 weeks and blowing the rocks off. Tried a peroxide dip on that zoa and it's dead. Oh well. Water clarity has been awesome the last 2 weeks I can't complain. I just ordered a frag rack and my new pumps get here tomorrow. Grye and a jaebo 8000L. Picking up my battle pack sunday. It's a sweet week. Also going to take the kids to Legoland in chicago Saturday. Busy week.
Sounds great! Sorry about the paly. Some just don't work out in the end. Hornets never do for me... Can't wait to see your new frags!
I know what you mean by busy.. Today is my youngest kids 18th birthday and we're doing her big bash on Saturday. Christmas stuff isn't even put away yet... gonna be a tough week.
This time of year kills me. All 3 kids birthdays between Dec 19th and Mar 21. Plus xmass. I also love love love to snowmobile. Ugh. Life. But I did do haircuts 2 day! Lol.
I have a HUGE family, no less tan 8 birthdays per month but September - January are bad, November being the worst at 19.
I love, love, love the snow and snowmobiling, ice skating, building forts and igloos you name it! I was born and raised with it. Last time I was anywhere near (good) snow was 11 years ago and 13 before that... so much fun!
I am going to do some Z's n P's fragging and move some stuff around. I plan on changing my lighting schedule around after my battle pack gets in the tank. I need to get more color out of some stuff. Since this thing will be mostly sps it time to run my light a bit hotter.
I think I've been a bit 2 conservative with the light. We shall see here over the next month. I'm gonna try to get up 2 100% blues and 75% white for 4 hours. Ramping 3 hours before and after. Idk.
Also, since i don't have a wrasse yet i have a bunch of baby snails. Normally wrasses find baby snails very tasty and you may never see them once hatched. Wish i could get a pic of one. They're too small for my phone camera to focus in on. Maybe when my macro lens gets here...
Oh Yeah! I this this is what Joe (joekool ) has that has grown quite a bit... it's gorgeous! I really love most all of the ones you got but the Palmer is my fave...
Wish I had the cash for some myself but I need lots of poopers before Todd sends out his PIF and saving for ozone and an apex. I have a specific monthly tank budget lol! Adam does have nice sticks though... that's who I got my blueberry fields acro from :)
