Can y’all help me understand... is it better to have two higher wattage heaters to reduce the time and energy it takes to heat the tank, or is it better to have two under wattage heaters to reduce the possibility of over heating?

For example for a 75G:
IN-TANK HEATERS
2 100W heaters

2 300W heaters

1 300W & 1 150W heater

I've always used two smaller heaters for redundancy. If one fails, at least you'll still have a second one as a backup, even though it may not be big enough to provide adequate heat.
