I’ve had a helfrichi fire fish in my display now for about 2 months. The tank is 5’ long and about 130 gallons. It’s skittish of the other fish when the lights are on. If my blue tang or fairy wrasse swims near him he darts into his home which is my pearly jawfish old burrow. In the morning when there’s sunlight but tank lights aren’t in he seems to be better. Some days though he’ll be out all day and then some I won’t see him at all. Is there anything I can to do help or just let him adapt.

There's a good reason they are called "dartfish" LOL. Mine never calmed down. The littlest thing would send them diving into the rocks. Usually tearing off their dorsal fins. Amazing how fast the fin would grow back.
