Helio heater e3 code

Hello,

So I lost both of my main heaters today, and I was dumb enough to listen to the guys at my lfs on getting the innovative marine helio 1000 watt heater. Went to set it up and as soon as I plug it in I get the dumb e3 code saying the water temp is too high. My water temp is 78 degrees and I set the high point at 82 and low at 77. It doesn’t give me a chance to calibrate it either. Not many videos on the error codes or well how to fix them. Just so must know it was just bought today and just installed. I made sure everything was connected w the power off.

Did you ever get your heater problem resolved? I’m not familiar with that particular brand so not much help. I’m sure someone familiar will chime in.

I did, my lfs switched it out with a new one. Innovative marine was not much help at all:
