Hi all! I had 1 Hellfire Torch die on me, had BJD from what I could tell (brown ooze...oozing). Notified my local vendor and they replaced it with a different hellfire torch. The same thing happened, except this time, the torch was getting a white fuzz around its flesh, tentacles were going through necrosis, and pieces of the tentacles were breaking off. Attached is a short video of my other torches doing just fine in the same general location, and the hellfire torch dying :(. I have also attached an image of where the hellfire torch were being placed before their demise.

My question is, why do you think that out of all the torches, Hellfire is the only one having issues? These are my parameters:

Ammonia/Nitrite Not Tested
Salinity 1.026
Nitrate 5ppm
Phos 0.03ppm
Mag 1260ppm
Alk 8.2dKH
Calc 400ppm

Edit: this all happened within 2 days of the torch being in the tank, both of them.

My only guess is that there's a big difference between their tank chemistry and yours. And your tank chemistry looks fine... So that doesn't make much sense, but its all I can think of.
Weird thing is, all the other torches were bought from the same person

Were the other torches bought at the same time?
From the first round of torches, yes. I bought the hellfire torch (the dying one) and 4 other torches. The highlighter torch waa bought a week before the other 5

Unfortunately, torches just do that. They can be healthy for months, years.. and then melt.
