Hi there! We have been working on this tank a few months now, Algae is the biggest issue we are having these days. Considering getting our first tang with hopes it helps with the algae, any recommendations? 40 gallon tank, 2 clownfish, 2 Cardinals, watchmen goby, royal gramma, Azure and blood red fire shrimp. Bunch of snails and few small crabs. 1 Lettuce sea slug. Different coral frags and most are not glued, incase needed to move after a month or so. Attaching a pic 🫣 algae wants to take over please help open to all helpful recommendations

Welcome! In the middle of diatom and some kind of hair algae outbreak myself. On 10 week tank. Most of what I've researched here so far is the general advice is let it run it's course totally expected on a new cycled tank. Check your phosphates maybe see if your over feeding.

Welcome, glad you are here! Get your nutrients in check, continue manual removal and toss in some Mexican Turbo snails and a couple urchins, pincushions or tuxedos. Good luck, you’ll get through it like we all did.
