So far so good. I added 2 small GSP last week and a shrimp. Then added a protein skimmer.
Water test looks good.
Do have a question about the lights. Using Prime 16.
The marine store suggested UV at 30%, Violet, Royal and Blue at 40% and Green, Deep Red, at 0.
I have Moon light at 30% and Cool White at 20%.
Both lights at 8 inches and top is covered. Is this acceptable?

Hello all, I am from Knoxville, Tn. I am new to the reef tank. The local marine store supplied me with my setup (it was on sale) and the manager and staff have answered all my set up questions. Currently, I am cycling my new tank. Just added 2 fish to assist in the cycling.
As of now I am too new to know what to ask but I came here for the knowledge!
