Just wanted to say hello and thank you to everyone. I have been in the hobby for around 15 years. My wife and I had a beautiful softy and lps tank about 7 years ago but sadly it crashed while on vacation and I gave up on corals for a while. I am just now attempting to build up the same 45g reef/fish habitat again so far with a couple frags of zoas, mushrooms and hammers. Our tank is also home to an ora mocha storm, another but normal ocellaris, a neon dottyback and a canary blenny.I am very excited to be getting back into the hobby and I am also very excited to learn more about reefing. Thank you all for your time and awesome info. Zach

Welcome!!! Crashes happen and certainly are demoralizing, but jumping back on the horse is very satisfying. Show us some photos of what you have going on now. We love photos!

Lights just went off but I will take more tomorrow. It used to be a stained hood and stand but I painted it after the years of salt drips and stains.

I am in the process of redoing the filtration system on this tank and yes my hideous heater that is attempting to float off the back wall.
