Hello from Greece. i v been watching you for along time following d2minis aquariums back from RC(my nick there was sifnos). finally i hope i found a friendly forum with normal people to talk about our passion. I used to work for elos distributor here in greece (aqualife.com.gr) and i have design lots of aquariums. that was my second job. right now i own the family business (car collision repair center) in an island called Sifnos. Soon I will start my building thread for my new reef and it would be wonderful to have your help and share with you my little building trip...so nice to find you

thank you for the welcome. So first decision to take :

final dimensions.
i am planning 130cm*70cm*50cm(hight) front and side glass extra clear(iron free)
over flow on the left side glass not sure if i need only a small external box from glass(like "be an animal" style), or to make it all the way down.open in suggestions.
the system will be skimerless based on ATS with led light and water from the sea by adjusting the salinity,interesting in sps only and a few fishes . tank rimless

probably. thats the way we used to build tanks for years. not sure although if its necessary. what do you think about?

Have you looked at the ghost overflows? One can design there own;) That would be a nice fit for what you are looking to do.
