Hello from Az, new to R2R

Hello,

I have not had a saltwater tank in forever and I ran across this 144gal Oceanic for a good deal and thought why not, came with everything but sand the owner even delivered di water premixed to my house. I am on day 3 tank is clear. I will test water tonight. This is the largest tank I have ever had so I am a little overwhelmed and super excited at the same time. Probably will start out as FOWLR and maybe someday with all the great info on this forum I might go Reef.

I have already read through a few threads before joining seems like a lot of great people here that are very knowledgeable.

Maricopa is a little rough just because it’s so far out. Because most of the really good trust shops in my opinion are in Mesa. Look into Reef Monsters, Club Reef, great selection of everything (incredibly healthy fish with a great verity! And he goes to Cali every Monday to get more. You can also tell him what you want and he can get you almost anything)! And Coral life for all coral or anemones! If you just need equipment for your tank Go to Discount Aquarium, but if you are thinking about getting anything living from there look closely and make sure to QT!! Haha I have a few others but those are the ones I go to on a weekly basis! @firstgendsm

I am used to driving I work in Downtown Phoenix so Mesa and Tempe are short trips for me. Thanks for the advice on where to buy fish and supplies appreciate it.

Small world, I was just there with the wife. We were visiting my folks who were there for over a week going to spring training games. We stayed at that Harras hotel/casino. We drove on up into Tempe so I could visit a saltwater shop or two. Were a bit further south and east of Tucson. Welcome!
