Looking to reset my 55 Gallon.

55-60 with pine wood stand

Sump and skimmer Eshopps

Current USA loop light & power flow combo. Just light is online currently . I Also have a Radion not on tank---yet.

2 vor tech Marine 40s

Tank cycling. Just about ready for fish and Coral sometime this week.

Yes no Aquascape. Had a Majano anemone that over took the previous build because I'm a LARK....Lol. All of my rock is drying out under the sun now. So, I'm thinking of Fish only with softies this time around. However, I think that over time wanting to add more coral will get the better of me. I'll be adding some coral here and there because I love going to local coral reef shows and shopping at my LFS.

The second tank you see in my photos will be set up in a different room. Plan there will be to build out a frag tank with no skimmer or sump. It is another 60gl with DIY plywood build stand. The plan there is to fill up the tank half way so I can lean over the top standing lookin g down.

All the equipment I have acquired over the many years keeping and enjoying wet boxes . So, to keep cost down, I'll use what I have and K.I.S.S. my tank daily.

These tanks will be fun. Enjoying the hobby after 30+ years. No tank keeping over 100gl (and that one was freshwater). LET's GO!

55gl is illuminated.

Cord management is an issue. Had the empty water container keeping the electronics off the floor.

Goose neck waterproof full spectrum light for algae scrubber/ mangroves
IMG_5400.jpeg
Current USA loop light & power flow combo that I never used to grow coral. Might go with my old T5s

Sunlight shoots right through in the morning waking up the tank daily.
Love it!

Currently all rock is taking a freshwater bath. Next will be peroxide. Then another sun dry out before restarting cycle in the tubs over again.

Good people over at Pisces. Haven't been to Jan's in a long time. If you ever feel like taking a drive out to Redlands, I highly recommend Ocean Aquatics.
Ocean Aquatics. Ok. When I'm passing through I'll check them out! I also use to be a big fan of Pet World in San Berdo back in the day. I learned a lot from the brothers who ran the place back in the 90s. Happy reefing JayM!
