all test on salifert except hanna (not ultra low version just phosphate)
Nitrates 0
ammonia0
phospate on hanna .30 added GFO reactor today
ph 8.0-8.1

Hi and welcome to r2r
Feel free to ask questions . We’re all here to help you succeed .
For tests … I’d take a sample to a lfs and have them confirm your test results . Or perhaps investigate why some of the results seam off .
In a new system mag should be registering with just the salt mix alone .
Alkalinity should closely match what the salt package says .
But …. This depends if the salinity is at the proper level ( 35ppt or 1.026 sg )

Happy reefing .

Welcome! Glad you joined. Your water parameters sound like you should get a second opinion, even if you need to pay a LFS to test for you (and don't go to one that uses API test kits). Nitrates, magnesium and/or alkalinity at 0 with fish being fed (nitrates) and given saltwater is giving you at least some mag and alk.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). In fact, everything you have above you might just consider copying over into new thread under Forums > Member Aquariums to get it started.

This might help you find people local to you in Michigan:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
