Hello All.
Getting back into this hobby (for the third time) after several years away.
While doing my research and coming up to speed with how the technology has changed since my last foray, many of the answers were links to this site. It appears this is a good place to get knowledgeable answers to all manner of reef keeping questions.
In the 1990’s we had a mixed reef setup for a several years using a standard 55-gallon tank with a hang-on overflow, homemade sump, and Frankenstein fluorescent lighting.
In the 2000’s we went through several, sequentially larger desktop Nano's that ended with a ‘non-desktop’ 36-gallon AIO with T5’s and Halide lighting.
In the 2010’s we didn’t fish.
And now we have collected the components and infrastructure to setup the "Red Sea Reefer XL 200 G2" that arrives tomorrow.
I suppose I should start a build thread
