Hi Everyone,

I just joined this forum although I probably should have much earlier.

Never had any fish growing up. I moved into a new house in the summer of 2015 with my wife and baby daughter and in this new house we decided to set-up a saltwater aquarium.

It was set up by local guys ('Morskoy Aquarium') that all in all did a pretty good job.

The same company organized a maintenance team of 2 that would visit me once a week for changing water, adding salt, cleaning etc'. I was not happy with the job they did with regards to developing my tank and making it more attractive. So about 6 months ago I replaced them with another company ('Aquarium Style'). They sent out a guy named Igor, who's very professional and ever since he arrived my tank and my involvement with it became much better.

It took me some time but right now I don't think there is anything I enjoy more than "messing" around with my tank :)

Which is why I decided to join R2R. Happy to be here!

Regards from Moscow,
Guy

Welcome, we are glad to have you here with us.

Welcome! I would love to see you start a tank thread if your u have some time.

Welcome to R2R and thanks for joining.

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

@BigJim - In which of the forums is it best to write such a thread?
@7hogwarts - Will sure write all about my livestock very soon ;)
@Mike_J - Regarding Pic's it seems impossible to me to take good one's with a smartphone. It must be because of the neon lights that I get such a dark response and the beauty of my tank is just lost in the picture or the video. Do you think a normal camera or a professional one will do a better job? Can you perhaps recommend one to me? Would really love to post some pictures in here.

Thanks again you all. Have a lovely day

There is a Member Tanks forum or a 180+ Gallon forum if you have a large tank.

We love nice pics but any pics will do. Even blue saturated pics are great. There is a Photography forum and I believe some recent articles in the Articles section that will offer some camera advice. Photography can also become an expansive hobby. I personally have a Nikon D7000 with a Tokina 100mm macro lens.

Welcome and glad to have you!

Thx @revhtree !

@BigJim will sure have a look on the Photography Forum. Can you tell me what's supposed to be in the Showcase part of this forum? Oh and I just posted a thread in the Member Tanks Forum. Took me forever to write it but it should all be there. Thx!

I believe the showcase has information on sponsors of Reef2Reef. I took a look at you tank thread and it looks great. Quite a journey so far.
