I'm from the Province of Cavite just south of the capital :D

How difficult is it to get corals there? I know they are protected there.

Surprisingly, not that hard. I just learned recently about the law regarding the protection of rocks and corals. FB groups I joined almost always have people posting about corals in their tank and I went around several LFS in the area before and they have frags. If I didn't read about the law by chance, I wouldn't even have imagined there is one.

Although the law states that both gathering and possessing corals are prohibited, as far as I know it isn't specified if this includes captive grown corals.
