Hi,
I just joined R2R, and I am looking forward to learning lots. I am new to saltwater. I started my first (and only) reef tank in January 2016 so as of this post, I have about 7 whopping months of experience...ha ha. I am the first to admit I know nothing, and I expect to spend most of my time reading rather than talking.

I like DIY projects and my system reflects that. My nano reef is basically an experiment I started to see if I could survive in the saltwater hobby. I decided to go small: 15 gallon display w/10 gallon sump. I got a bit carried away with drilling, plumbing, etc. just because I wanted to see what I could do. I am having a blast, and I even started sharing my journey on YouTube where I refer to myself as Tony Jibster the Reef Noob.

I am looking forward to getting to know many of you.

Welcome to R2R, very nice setup

Welcome to R2R and thanks for sharing your system with us. It's a great hobby and lots of DIY opportunity.

Welcome to R2R!!!

Welcome to R2R--I live just up the street from you in Wake Forest. That is one heck of a first set-up--very nice! I'm sure you know of The Reef Farm--they'll be having a cookout and frag swap/sale on July 16. You might be able to find some good deals on small frags there.

Your all so nice. I knew I shouldn't believe what I was hearing...lol. Y'all are great and I can't wait to get to know you. Cool to see so many locals here too. Thanks for all the nice greetings!

I never heard of the Reef Farm and I have been searching. Thank you! I can't wait to check them out. :-)
