Hello from Texas - Need Help with Chrysophytes

Hi everyone, my name is Hector, and I am new to Reef2Reef. I have been maintaining my saltwater tank since 2009 and have greatly enjoyed it. It has been a lot of learning and a lot of struggle. I have a 90-gallon tank with 2 Cardinals, 1 Clownfish, and 1 Royal Gama. I also have some corals and a clam.

For the most part, everything has been nice for the last year, but lately, I have been struggling with what I believe is golden algae or Chrysophytes. That's why I decided to join this community and seek some help and advice. This seems to be something I won't figure out entirely on my own. I will create a new post to discuss my problem.

Thanks, I created a different post with all the information that I have so far. In that post I placed some images and videos from a microscope. I am planning on getting one more sample under the microscope to see how things are looking. I believe I have reduced them in a 20-30%, but still I have a long way to go.

Chrsophytes is labor work for removal. Take the rock out and place in large container with tank water.
Give the tank a good siphon and clean all filters and skimmer if you have one.
Scrub the rock with a firm toothbrush Or auto detail brush and 3% peroxide. Agitate to shake off particles and add cleaners such as Pitho crabs, chiton snails, ninja star snails and caribbean blue leg hermits to help with control and reduce white intensity a little and increase water flow. You likely have inadequate flow which allowed this to adhere to rock
