Hello all,
Just found this forum. Long time user of the other forum. Been keeping reefs a long time but took a break couple years back. Now I have setup a 300 display and the addiction is back!

Hello CR & Welcome to R2R ! What are your plans for this new build?

Well the build is pretty close to being finished! Heres what we have so far. Definately changing a few things real shortly.

300 gallon marineland tank with corner overflows
MP40
2 tunzebelle streams
250 pounds of rock
2 400w MH and 3 par 38 bulbs - This changing to LEDS real soon! Just torn on which ones.
65 gallon rubbermaid sump with live rock
75 gallon fuge with just cheato as of now. DSB to be added
reeflo barracuda gold pump for return
1hp chiller
Aero Foamer 1625 beckett skimmer with mag 18 feeding it
75gpd RODI
44 gallon top off container for the ATO
and the other usual stuff for a messy fish room!
Sump is in the basement with the display on the first floor. I got lucky and there was a I beam directly under the tank so I just added a couple basement jackstands for safety/piece of mind
Tank has been filled and cycling for 2 weeks now and doing fine.
I will add a apex shortly for a controller. I still have a complete DA RKE V2 system that I could put on it but I would rather sell it and go to apex.
Thats about it. Oh it will be a mixed reef as we have alot of frags and stuff in a full 30 gallon right now waiting to go in to the 300.
Thanks for the welcomes.
