Hello from the Poconos (NEPA)

Well I wanted to finally introduce myself. I've been lurking in the background for a while on this forum and never posted before. My name is Dave and I'm from the Poconos in Northeastern, PA. I've been in the SW hobby for almost 2 years and currently have a 75g mixed reef. I'm trying to rebuild my tank again due to a crash a few weeks ago caused by an 18hr power outtage. I lost all my fish and a few corals, but things are bouncing back now. Thanks for having me on the forum and I've gained a lot of knowledge from reading on here for the past year or so.

last March we had a monster storm , Knocked the power out here for 6 days. Just a few months prior to that My wife broke my chops about getting a generator. I didnt want to spend the money. Then I saw a heavy duty Ridgid generator on sale so I bought it. 3 weeks later the storm hit. This generator ran my whole house(4500sqft) and my 380 system that draws 35amps alone.

Dave do you know of any good firework stores out there? You know the good illegal stuff

A generator is the next thing on my list. I'm looking into a 4000 watt one which will be more than enough for the tank and other things in my house.

Fireworks...yes, there are a few places out near me that sell that good stuff, but you need to have an out of state ID to purchase. Nobody from PA can purchase that kind of stuff legally within the state lines.

No word on any swaps yet. I would have thought there would be one in July, but it's not looking too good. I'm thinking they will probably arrange one for September or October at the latest.
