Doing a dropoff tank since two years faced lot of difficulties in controlling nutrients in a 55 gal system i dont know if this is crazy but iam upgrading to a 220 gal system would love to know your thoughts

There are different challenges in a big tank vs a smaller one. However, your drop off tank probably is quite challenging --so I say go for it.:)

Welcome! Glad you joined. I think you are doing AWESOME! Sounds like you are making a natural progression and not crazy at all. You fit right in and you set the bar high based on your drop off tank photo!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
