Welcome to R2R!!! Soft corals are a great place to start and a 90g is a good size tank that will give you a lot of flexibility! We're glad you're here!

welcome to R2R i also converted my 240 African tank over to a reef. you will love the salty side.
i just got my ciclids last week i was going to set the 55 up with saltwater but i decided it would be better to use the 90 gallon for my reef tank and put my mbuna in the 55 i only have 9 small ones about 2in

Welcome John! I kept Africans for a long time too. Just love em. You're going to enjoy the transition to salt water. Best move I ever made. Looking forward to the pics.
