HI guys new to the forum here, glad to join.
I unexpectedly got a 65g thank and I'm trying to identify what I have in there to make sure I provide the best care.

I agree it looks like green star polyps or maybe even yellow star polyps I just never seen them turn white before normally they just die off.

I recently moved the tank from one house to another (about 5 weeks) and sadly most of the corals that were already inside the tank died.
This little guy started to grow about 3 week's ago with some other corals.
I don't seem to find much information on how to feed it.
My brother is telling me not to worry about it, that I don't need to feed it. Is this true?

I agree bleached gsp. Nope it will do fine that stuff grows like a weed

Also, welcome home, you will love it here!

Pleas post up another pic in a fwe weeks. It could be another type of octocoral. there are white ones.

I will definitely post another pic in a few weeks. Thank you very much guys this seems like a very nice friendly place.
This is my first forum ever and I'll say I'm already in love with it lol
