Hello forum-folks!
I'm completely new to the hobby -- never thought I'd be getting into fish at all, actually, I'm a science teacher and was 'encouraged' to start keeping a classroom saltwater fish for the Marine Biology class my school had me teaching last year. Did some research, pretty quickly figured out that it was going to be a wayyy bigger commitment than my boss thought it was, but by then I'd seen enough that I wanted to get into the hobby for my own sake 😂
I now have a 36 gallon that's been up and running since May-- originally I had a 20 gallon in my classroom, but now upgraded and at my place for the summer. Couple of clowns, a cardinal, and a yellow watchman Goby. Nothing too fancy, and still getting it set up for corals, but the fish and inverts are doing just fine! Just don't ask me how I'm getting them all back to school in September-- they may end up permanently at my house lol...
