My name is Spencer and I am a proud new saltwater aquarium owner. I was really apprehensive to get my first tank but I took the plunge and now I am addicted! I have a 40 Gallon AIO and now see that I should have gotten at least 125 gallons with all the bells and whistles of course. I have seen a lot of great posts on here and I hope that it leads to me being a successful Reefer!

Hello Spencer,

It’s awesome that you have taking the plunge into saltwater tanks and reefing. We would all love to see pictures of your current set up as well. Here you will find some very lovely people with a wealth of knowledge. I’m very certain that here soon you will upgrade to a 125 soon. If so lol go for the gold and just do a 220 instead.:)

When I started this hobby it was with a 125, and then I made a huge jump to a 240. Now I want to try a 300 or even larger depending on how much time I get. Regardless of what you choose we are excited to see you take your adventure, and hope you take us with you.

That’s exactly how it goes! You get a nice little setup and once you learn enough you immediately want to bigger and better! I know that feeling.
