Hello reef keepers. I’ve recently become interested in reef keeping and thought I’d dive into the forum and learn what’s required. I’ve been a aquarist for several decades keeping many types of freshwater fish but have never done a saltwater tank. A friend of mine has a 90 gallon with overflow and sump that he had set up for saltwater years ago that’s he’s going to give me. He basically is going to give me everything he still has. I don’t believe he still has a protein skimmer but I already have two corallife double t5 bulb fixtures so that should give me a good start. I’m sure there’s lots of information here for me on what I need to learn.
