Hello all,

New to reef2reef. Been in and out of the saltwater hobby for 15 years. I recently had a freshwater tank that I converted to saltwater. For now I am using all old equipment from past saltwater tanks plus a couple new pieces.

I am running a canister for now as I am only doing fish. (My life schedule tells me no reefing for now) However, the tank is cycling and I look forward adding fish in a couple months.

I’ll drop a pic of the setup. Feel free to add suggestions on how I can make it a better aquatic system for my fish.

Note: being it is a fish only for now I have a canister running synthetic carbon (chemipure and purigen) also inline uv sterilizer and once fish are added I will hook up my old aquamaxx hob-1 skimmer.

Welcome to R2R! Looking forward to seeing what fish you add as you move forward.
