Hi all,
Thanks for the add. I began the mixed reef journey about a year and a half ago when we got a 100 gal waterbox. Before that we had fish only tanks. I have lost almost three torches and just read my leathers may be the problem. It was suggested to add chemiclean, which made my toarch decline even further. I hope I don’t lose it as well! I look forward to reading through the forums.

Welcome to R2R!!! I have torches and leathers in the same tank. I wouldn’t start changing, adding, or removing things . It will most likely make things more upset. Torches need stability with good parameters.

Thanks for the response. I didn’t know what to do. I had a Caribbean and it split twice and was gorgeous! A year later I added a purple joker and so far so good; then eventually I added a NY Nicks. They eventually started getting unhappy and I separated them. They seemed ok. I lost the car tub ran before the summer. I lost the joker last week and now the NY nicks is definitely dying. I am so sad.

+1 on RedReefer's advice. Leaving things alone will allow corals to adapt. Josh from WorldWideCorals once said, "Corals are amazingly adaptive creatures, if you just let them."
Also welcome to Reef2Reef!!!
