Great to be here! I have had a reef aquarium for about 10 years, but I am still very much a novice. I have a 90 gallon tank. Foxface, yellow tang, two snowflake clownfish, banded coral shrimp, LTA, hammer. I do not have a sump because there is no room for one. I am excited about being here because I need to learn. I think I have been really lucky so far.

Welcome! Glad you joined. 'start where you are, use what you have, do what you can." - Arthur Ashe, tennis player

Sumps are optional. I *love* LOVE my sump on my main tank. However yesterday I started a 'Sanctuary Tank' for my Copperbanded Butterfly fish and like you I don't have sump space in my new 55 gallon corner tank (I got used). I feel like I've gone backwards 30 years, but it worked for me then so it will work going forward - there are many ways to reach same goals in this hobby!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
