Hey guys,
I have a pair of ocellaris clownfishes laying eggs regularly.
These days, I'm trying to breeding like below,

My problem is most of the fry die within 1, 2days.

150 fry out of 180 dies with in 24 hours. (photo like below)
I don't get the situation at all.
Can you define the cause of this tragedy?

What I'm doing is like this,

- Tank : Coral Pro Salt Container (approx. 22L)
- Heat : 27±0.2℃ (with controller, and no cover on the heater)
- Air : like the movie clip like below.
- Light : 3W lights, allowed sunshine comes in day time.
- Water : I used the seawater from the hatching tank.
- Capturing : Vossen trap

Movie is +12Hr, so 50% are still alive.

I've been having the 24 hour death syndrome also. My next clutch I won't use my trap, I'm going to cover the light on the heater and make more air under the heater to keep them away. Hopefully this will solve my problems.

Some of the most common causes are insufficient parent diet, water quality, or collection method. Salts with elevated elements are not preferred.

I think your light is very bright, it might be worth using some black electrical tape and blocking some of the LED's.
