Help adding Tuxedo Urchin

So I'm acclimating a new Tuxedo urchin from Algaebarn but he has now attached himself to the acclimation container. How do I get him off and add him to my tank?

If you can't stick the container in the tank you should be able to just gently pry him off the glass.

Keep him under water. You can just pull him off by hand

I deal with them on a regular basis, at the science center I volunteer at. If you break a spine or two, it wont kill it. Best way I've found to get one off something if it's really stuck, is use a plastic card to try and slide it under the part attached.

Just be gentle and you'll be alright. They don't get a death grip like an anemone does.
