My small anemone found the only power head without a cover. He is not completely cut in half but he doesn’t look good. So much for thinking they wouldn’t get to the one I use to agitate the surface. He is about the size of my thumb nail right now and when completely out about 2”. I have him floating in a breeder for now as I had to tear down the QT the other day.

Good luck, my friend. Unfortunately, not a lot you can do in this situation other than monitor it. Nems are very hardy, and some can make it through… but with a rough tear in the foot like that, it’ll be difficult to recover from. Just watch it, do NOT feed, and if it starts looking like it’s melting, it’s a gone pecan

Update.
After weeks in QT and limited to no light he has survived to go back to the DT. Lost over half his tentacles and a small piece of his foot. I started feeding him reef roids every other day after week 2 then started brine shrimp and fish eggs the third week. He has gained some new tentacles and is getting bigger.
