Not sure he’ll see this if he hasn’t been on for a while but still! Lol. Welcome to R2R! Lol. I’ve never had a lifereef so I can’t attest to them but I run a diy on my mixed reef that’s way to powerful lol. And I’ll be either running the Trigger Triton 44 or a Trigger Platinum on my sps build. I’ve always loved my Trigger sumps!

Have had several of those that have been mentioned. Just received a Lifereef for my new 180. IMO, that advantages are that they are sockless, have a separate refugium, built in reactors and can be customized to your system. Also, if you want, can be made in almost any colors. Disadvantages are cost and wait time. Like everything else, only you can decide.

I'm looking forward to the built-in reactors on the LifeReef Sump. The reactors seem to be easy to add media too when/if necessary. Sometime's good things come to those who wait :D
