Help! Calcium high

I’m having some major calcium issue. It stays consistent 590s. It’ll drop a little, about 8 per day to 560s. Then water change will bring it back to 590-600.

About 2-3 month ago my ca reading was wrong and dosed. But stopped once I realized reading was wrong.

Could old Ca could be mixing whole water change?

what salt are you using?

If it is accurate, it still isn't going to harm anything.

I’m using Hannah marine master photometer. I use ro water to clean.

I don’t know if the values are accurate, and as mentioned above, the values are not a concern, but obviously the salt mix is the source.
Could be excessive salinity, a bad calcium test, or a bad source of new salt water.

I’m using rodi water and I just get my salt water from local fish store

My rodi system is set up for human consumption so it has a remineralizing stage. It threw off my hannah checkers when I cleaned my vials with that water.

No, use whatever cleanest fresh water you have.

Do you have an RO/DI system? Does it have a remineralizing stage? If it does not, then use water from that.

I’ve been using local fish store rodi water… ca is finally down to 575
