If he confirms they were invisible in the saltwater that’s good news! The dip should help and with just a puffer and clown he could treat the tank with prazi. Much easier to deal with than ich and QT.
Yes, if OP has prazipro or can get it soon enough. If it's flukes, which to me seems likely, that fish probably won't survive much longer without treatment.
