I’d continue doing what you are doing. No dosing magic elixirs, no bleaching the rock or any other nonsense.
If you just keep harvesting it you will eventually get rid of what’s fueling the growth since the algae binds the nutrients.

You can try reducing your lighting hours a bit if you want to slow it down somewhat but the reduced growth will mean that it will take longer to stabilize.

As long as you’re not adding anything in to the tank that’s fueling it this method will most definitely work!
